Japanese Government (MONBUKAGAKUSHO) Scholarship for April 2024 Special Admissions for Research Students for Master’s Course
Since Akita universitys “International Education Program for Design for Environment” having been in practice from April 2022 (referred to as “Program” hereinafter) has been assigned from April 2022 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) to preferentially accept the recipients who have been awarded “MONBUKAGAKUSHO Scholarship”, we are looking to welcome three exceptional applicants from abroad for this program.
About the Program This innovative program is a collaborative effort among five departments at the Graduate School of Engineering Science at Akita University and applicants for this program shall be assigned to one of these departments:
- Department of Life Science
- Department of Material Science
- Department of Mathematical Science and Electrical-Electronic-Computer Engineering
- Department of System Design Engineering
- Cooperative Major in Sustainable Engineering
The program focuses on imparting multidisciplinary knowledge, with a special emphasis on decarbonization and green energy, pivotal for designing sustainable environments.
- The program is open to those who currently are residents outside of Japan.
- Applicants should be planning to enroll in the Master’s Course at Akita University’s Graduate School of Engineering Science, commencing in April 2024.
- Duration: the scholarship covers the standard total education period of two years.
- Monthly Allowance: recipients will receive a stipend of 144,000 yen per month.
- Fees: admission and tuition fees are waived for scholarship recipients.
